Programs

The Inner Circle’s programs are specifically designed to bring together Muslims marginalized based on sexual orientation and gender (MMBSOG) in order to fascilitate open dialogue around issues of sexuality and faith. TIC encourages Muslims who identify as heterosexual to participate in our conferences and programs such as the Annual International Retreat, the International Conference for the Empowerment of Women and the International Personal Empowerment Program with the intention of mainstreaming genderphobia and homophobia within Islam.

TIC’s programs not only act as a safe space where MMBSOG can find support and share experiences but creates platforms for change by networking with individuals and organizations doing similar work in the field of sexuality and Islam. Programs such as AIR and ICEW run annually with the IPEP running tri-annually.
